It is with great satisfaction that we present International Journal of Education and Teaching – IJET-PDVL, Vol. 8, No. 3 (2025), a special issue dedicated to the publication of the award-winning scientific papers presented at the 12th International Congress of Teacher Education – COINTER PDVL 2025.
This issue celebrates the excellence of scientific production in teacher education and reaffirms IJET-PDVL's commitment to disseminating research that contributes to strengthening education, teacher training, and pedagogical innovation. The articles published in this issue were selected from among the best papers presented at the congress, standing out for their scientific quality, social relevance, methodological rigor, and potential impact on both the academic and educational communities.
Throughout its history, COINTER PDVL has established itself as an important international forum for the dissemination of knowledge, fostering dialogue among researchers, educators, students, and education professionals from different institutions and countries. The publication of these award-winning papers recognizes the academic merit of their authors while expanding the visibility of research committed to addressing the challenges and perspectives of contemporary education.
The studies included in this issue encompass different fields of teacher education and educational sciences, addressing topics such as teacher education, teaching methodologies, educational technologies, environmental education, mathematics education, pedagogical practices, university extension, inclusion, and innovation, thereby demonstrating the diversity of approaches and the richness of the research developed within the framework of the congress.
IJET-PDVL thus reaffirms its mission to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge, encourage the internationalization of research, and strengthen the integration of teaching, research, and extension activities, contributing to the advancement of academic production and to the construction of an increasingly critical, democratic, inclusive, and socially committed education.
