Presentation of the Issue

The International Journal of Education and Teaching – IJET-PDVL is pleased to present Volume 7, Issue 2 (2024), reaffirming its commitment to the dissemination of scientific knowledge that contributes to the advancement of Education and Teaching. This issue brings together original studies that explore contemporary educational challenges through diverse theoretical perspectives, methodological approaches, and practical experiences.

The articles published in this volume address significant topics related to Professional and Technological Education, teacher education, supervised internships, active learning methodologies, Biology and Science Education, curriculum development, educational innovation, and the relationship between academic knowledge and professional practice. Collectively, these contributions provide valuable insights into the complexity of educational processes and the continuous search for more meaningful and transformative teaching practices.

A central characteristic of this issue is its emphasis on the integration of teaching, research, and extension as complementary dimensions of educational development. The studies highlight the importance of creating learning environments that encourage critical thinking, student engagement, collaborative learning, and the development of professional competencies capable of responding to the demands of an increasingly dynamic society.

The diversity of methodological approaches represented in this volume—including empirical investigations, qualitative analyses, literature reviews, and reports of educational experiences—demonstrates the richness of contemporary educational research. By connecting theoretical foundations with practical applications, the published studies contribute to strengthening evidence-based educational practices and fostering innovation across different educational contexts.

Through this collection of scientific contributions, IJET-PDVL continues to promote academic dialogue among researchers, educators, and institutions from Brazil and abroad, reinforcing its mission to serve as an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research dedicated to educational development and social progress.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the authors, peer reviewers, Editorial Board members, and editorial staff for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to maintaining the scientific excellence of this publication.
